Welcome to Asperger Strategies & Solutions

I offer input from a personal and academic perspective to all involved in supporting Asperger individuals. This includes professionals, carers, parents and Asperger individuals. Autistic Spectrum conditions are estimated to affect nearly 1% of the population. People with Asperger Syndrome (AS) can be found in all walks of life in every setting. The expression of AS can be obvious, however more often it is invisible.

In providing my services I aim to ensure that Asperger individuals do not become 'disabled by society'. Too often, due to a lack of awareness, understanding or expertise, individuals with AS lose out by being excluded at a global societal level, with their significant potential being wasted. This disablement is not only a loss to the individuals and their families but also to society.

I have a particular interest in supporting those at the 'higher end' of the Autistic Spectrum. This reflects the common scenario where the needs of the 'more able' adult or adolescent AS individual are ignored or misunderstood.
